On Friday 2nd February, 2018 two vessels homeported in Malta of the same company Eastern Mediterranean Maritime based in Greece were photographed from the air by MALTA SHIP PHOTOS.
First vessel was the 2015 built crude oil tanker ABLIANI waiting for Falzon bunkering tanker SANTA ELENA for uplifting bunkers at the designated Bunkering area 1. She was built in 2015 by Daewoo Mangalia Heavy Industries at Mangalia, Romania as Hull 5007 with 114,000 DWT tanker.
Second one in position of 55 nautical miles offshore Malta was the 2000 built 190 metre long bulker underway SEAVENUS. She was built in Japan by Oshima Shipbuilding at Saikai as the NORD CECILIE for Danish interests trading until April, 2002 where she she was sold and renamed to her current name.
