PASSER BY – MARIA S. MERIAN – 18.03.2018.

The 2006 built DEU flag research/survey vessel MARIA S. MERIAN was spotted at 2200 hrs (2100 UTC) passing by 60.5 nautical miles off Marsaxlokk Harbour, Malta during survey operations on Sunday 18th March 2018.

She was built in Poland with keel laid during June 2003 at Maritim Ltd at Gdansk. She was financed by the German government and is assigned to the Leibniz Institute for Baltic Sea Research at Warnemunde, with Rostock as her home port.
