On Saturday 31st October, 2015 the South Korean built anchor handling/supply ship DIAVLOS PRIDE towing the 157 metre offshore support vessel (osv) HULL 818 was photographed from the air by MALTA SHIP PHOTOS (MSPAP) underway to Norway from Vard Tulcea at Romania for the osv completion.
DIAVLOS PRIDE was built in South Korea by Samsung Shipbuilding & Heavy Industries at Geoje in 1980 launched as ATLAS TASMAN, then renamed as SMIT LLOYD 119 with Singapore Flag (SGP) , sold and renamed MAERSK HANDLER in 1982 for Maersk Supply Service (MSS) until May 1992 where she was sold and renamed as PILOT FISH trading until December 1993 where she was chartered to the Marine Nationale (French Navy) as CARANGUE trading for 16 years until July, 2009 based at Toulon.
Renamed as MEGA ONE she traded for 5 years till July, 2014.

And for 4 more years she traded as DIAVLOS PRIDE.
During December 2018, she was beached at Aliaga, Turkey.
Meanwhile the 157 m osv HULL 818 was to be completed at VARD Langsten, Tomrefjord in Norway and to be renamed (tbr) as DEEP EXPLORER with Det Norske Veritas (DNV) as class society with Wartsila Diesel Engines and Helideck above her bow.
