The Swiss Air Force sent its PC-7 aerobatic display team to take part in Malta International Airshow 2006.

The team is one of Switzerland’s two national display teams. Made up of nine aircraft, it derives its name from the type of aircraft, the Swiss made Pilatus PC-7. The team performed in Malta for the first time and usually performs at only three shows outside Switzerland each year.

The team was made of 10 aircraft – A-906, A-909, A-916, A-917, A-919, A-922, A-923, A-932, A-933, A-934 of which A-932 was a spare aircraft.

Support aircraft was a Learjet 35A T-781 which came twice, on the 21st and the 25th September, in each case departing after a few hours.
