One of the 1960 built ships that used to call at Grand Harbour, Malta to discharge cement in bulk was the Turkish owned general cargo ship NAZ-K.

She was built in 1960 by William Denny and Brothers Limited at Dumbarton in Scotland with yard no 1495 as PHYLLIS BOWATER for Bowater Steamship Co Ltd, London, UK trading until 23rd March, 1975. She was sold and renamed as CHARLOTTE homeported at Limassol (CYP Flag) trading until 20th July, 1978 where she was renamed as TASSOS K under Greek ownership with GRC Flag trading until 25th July, 1982 and renamed MALERO M1 homeported at Panama (PAN Flag) trading for less a year until 15th February, 1983. Lastly she was sold to Ercan Denizcilik Ltd of Turkey and renamed to NAZ-K.

She was 99.07 metres long with 15.32 metres beam with 4 Holds. Her radio callsign was TCIN while her GRT was 3,725 tons with a 5,639 dwt. She arrived at the breakers in Alang, India on the 8th March,2001.
