On Wednesday 10th June, 2020 around 1220 hrs the 1993 built vehicles carrier FIDES wearing the colours of Malta Motorways of the Sea colours entered Grand Harbour of what was her last port of call.
She was assisted by Tug Malta tugboat LIENI to berth at Magazine Wharf for some works and debunkering.
Built in Germany by Flender Werft at Lubeck in 1993 she was the first ship amongst her sister ship SPES bringing the first low floor public transport buses to the Maltese Islands.

She left Valletta bound to drop anchors otw on Thursday 11th June, 2020 at 1219 hrs.
On Tuesday 23rd June, 2020 she dropped anchors at Bunkering Area 3 West at 1010 hrs.

At 1627 hrs operations was completed, FIDES heaved up anchors and went back again to Hurd Bank dropping anchors.
On Sunday 28th June she was spotted anchored at Aliaga, off the breakers yard.
And on Friday 3rd July she was spotted beached.
