On Friday 12th May 2017 at Gadani Beach, Pakistan the 1998 Japanese built container ship NYK ANDROMEDA as WANA was broken up.

She was built at Ishikawajima-Harima Heavy Industries Co Ltd (IHI) -at Kure in Japan as Yard No. 3087.

She was 299.90m long with 40 m beam and 14.03 m draft.

She had a carrying capacity of 6,214 TEU with 500 Reefer Points.

Her names were NYK ANDROMEDA until April 2010; MSC BOTSWANA until April 2012; BOTSWANA until May 2017 with her last voyage renamed as WANA
