After being stripped from valuables at Curacao’s container port, the island’s port authority disclosed—a telltale sign that they’re being prepared for removal from service, Carnival Cruise line ship CARNIVAL INSPIRATION started her last voyage.

Based in Long Beach, California, she was spotted off Algeria on Thursday 30th July bound to Aliaga, Turkey that has become the final resting ground for many vessels.

On Saturday 1st August she was spotted off Crete, still heading to Aliaga for breakers.

Arriving at Aliaga anchorage on Monday 3rd August.

Formerly INSPIRATION she was a Fantasy class cruise ship and was built in Finland by Kværner Masa-Yards at Helsinki in 1996. During 2007, in common with all of her Fantasy class sisters she had the prefix CARNIVAL added to her name.

On Wednesday 5 th August she was beached alongside her sister CARNIVAL FANTASY.
