On Friday 8th May 2020 the 35 year old offshore support vessel SEVEN PELICAN started her final voyage to the breakers at Aliaga, Turkey.

She was towed by the 1998 built Italian tug GAGLIARDO from MMH Facilities where she was berthed since last year.

Above images of GAGLIARDO drydocked at Cassar Ship Repair Yard back in December 2019.

SEVEN PELICAN was built in Norway at Framnaes Mekaniske Verksted in Sandefjord as yard no 200 with yellow hull as SEAWAY PELICAN for Stolt Comex trading until April 2000. She was sold to DSND Shipping A/S and renamed DSND PELICAN trading for 6 years until July 2006 when she was purchased by the last company retaining her name and in February 2008 she emerged as SEVEN PELICAN with red hull like all Subsea 7 vessels.

Entering Valletta as SEAWAY PELICAN back in 1993.
