The 1972 built single hull oceangoing salvage tug CHRISTOS XXII was broken up at Aliaga, Turkey during December 2021.
She was built at H.H. Bodewes at Millingen in the Netherlands as yard number 702 named as SMIT ENTERPRISE for Smit International (Antilles) BV with 43.53 metres length overall (loa) and a beam of 10.62 metres with maximum draught of 4.52 metres and 60tons bollard pull.

In 1983 she was transferred to Smit International South East Asia Pte Ltd and renamed SMIT COLOMBO. After 2 years she was transferred to Smit Tak Towage & Salvage Pte Ltd retaining the same name.

In 1992 she was sold to BV Bergings & Transportsbedrijf van den Akker and back to September 1999 she was seen at Malta berthed at the old Medserv Base at Marsamxetto Harbour.

In 2002 she was transferred to URS Belgie NV retaining her name

And in 2010 she was sold to Spanopoulos Tugs Maritime Co. ; Greece and renamed CHRISTOS XXII.
Like other oceangoing tug she had various towages and back to November 2021 she was seen at Malta leaving Marsaxlokk Harbour towing the Turkish built Norwegian ferry STANGVIKFJORD as HULL 145 as per below images.
