On Monday 1st November, 2021 the 1979 built standby safety vessel BLUE SHARK entered Grand Harbour, Malta at 1608 hrs for uplifting bunkers since that she couldn’t receive bunkers within territorial waters (wtw) due to high swell cause of weather conditions.




She left Esbjerg, Danmark last Saturday 9th October where she was laid up for sometime waiting for demolition at a breaking yard.
She was built in Denmark by Bogense Skibsvaerft at Bogense in September 1979 as the LARS A KRUSE trading until December 1997 where she was acquired by Thor Offshore Services, Faroe Islands and renamed her as TORSVIK homeported at Hoyvik with Faroe Islands (FRO) Flag of which we saw her in Malta back to 4th April 2005 -See Below Images





She’s 39.2 m as length overall (loa) with 8.5 metres beam and currently homeported in Panama (PAN) since she was renamed with her current name lately.



She berthed at Pinto 1 Wharf, part of Valletta Cruise Port with the bunkering tanker BAWA-I.

BAWA-I left Grand Harbour today , 2nd November at 0704 hrs while BLUE SHARK left harbour at 1055 hrs bound to Tuzla, Turkey.
