On Saturday 10th April, 2021 the 1977 built tugboat WAF 3 called for bunkers coming from Catania, Sicily on her way to Dakar, Senegal with ETA on Wednesday 12th May. Originally she arrived on Friday 9th April around 1127 hrs but had to wait for instructions outside territorial waters (otw).

She was built in Italy by Bacino Di Carenaggio at Trapani as yard no 9 for Augustea Imprese Marittime E Di Salvataggi SpA, Italy as CITTA DI SIRACUSA. Her radio callsign was IRFH and she was homeported at Augusta, Sicily. She was seen both at Catania and Pozzallo Ports.

Since late 2019 she was laid up at Molo Levante, Catania as per above images captured in February, 2020.

In November 2020 she was sold to West African Fenders Nig Ltd, Nigeria and renamed WAF 3 homeported at Moroni (COM Flag). Radio call sign is D6A2784 with mmsi 620773000 and today Saturday 10th April, 2021 she uplifted bunkers by tanker SANTA ELENA at Bunkering Area 3.

Within 60 minutes she was ready and next port of call was Las Palmas.
