On Saturday 7th January, 2023 the 1998 built PAN flag vehicles carrier PTOLEMY called at Bunkering Area 3, Malta for uplifting bunkers.
She was built in the Netherlands by Frisian Shipbuilding Welgelegen at Harlingen with Yard Number 507 as AUTOPROGESS homeported in Grimstad, Norway. Her keel was laid on 25th March 1997 and launched on the 19th January,1998 with 125.50 m length and 18.80 metres beam for the Norwegian Company – United European Car Carriers AS.
Since 2005 she was homeported at Madeira and on 30th December, 2022 she left Oslo, Norway for the last time where she stopped OPL Malta for uplifting bunkers on her way to the Far East via Suez Canal as the PTOLEMY. On Saturday 7th at 2320 hrs she left the Bunkering Area.
