One of the Vard Design ships is the 2016 built 95.30 metres long cable layer SEAWAY AIMERY.
She has been designed as a dedicated cable lay vessel with significant hold space for cable storage and has also been designed to enable the cable crew to work under cover during laying operations to minimise the impact of weather.
She was built in Poland by Remontowa Shipbuilding S.A. at Gdansk as project no B101/1 and was delivered to Siem Offshore Rederi AS, Norway as SIEM AIMERY. Since July 2018 she was renamed as SEAWAY AIMERY with Subsea 7 of which the company was renamed to Seaway 7, Norway during October 2021.

She’s 95.30 metres long with 21 metres as beam with 8,500 GRT and 4,500 DWT. She’s homeported at Douglas, Isle of Man (IOM).
