Last Thursday 8th September , the 2009 built 294 metre long cruise liner COSTA LUMINOSA officially joined the Carnival Cruise Line (CCL) renamed as CARNIVAL LUMINOSA flying a PRT flag at Palermo, Sicily, Italy.
In Palermo, Costa Capt. Nicolantonio Palombella handed over the ship to Carnival Capt. Adriano Binacchi, with additional leadership team members from both lines in attendance – https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=603493311423156

She is set to debut for CCL from Brisbane, Australia on 6th November up to 13th April, 2023 before repositioning for seasonal service from Seattle to Alaska next May on a voyage with some first time destinations for Carnival. She has 2,826 passenger capacity with 1,050 crew.
