On Monday 14th February, 2022 the 2021 newbuilt ASD Tug 2609 ICE built by Damen – RONDO entered Grand Harbour, Malta at 1022 hrs coming from Vietnam (left Last December) via Suez Canal for few hours for uplifting bunkers with stores/provisions.

She’s 26.45 metres long with 9.54 metres beam and maximum draft of 4.15 metres. She has a 41 tons bollard pull ahead while 36.9 tons astern. She was berthed at Gun Wharf, part of Valletta Cruise Port.

She has 2 x Caterpillar Main Engines with 2 x Azimuth thrusters and cruising speed of 13 knots. Homeported at Saint Petersburg she was flying St. Vincent & The Grenadines flag (VCT) like most of the deliveries and unfortunately instead of the MALTA National Flag as Courtesy Flag ,the Maltese Maritime Flag was hoisted without anyone noticing…..Another Shame !!!

She was wearing Rosmorport livery.

Upon completion she passed breakwaters at 1551 hrs on her departure to complete her voyage.
