On Tuesday 10th August, 2021 two Damen ART 80-32 built tugs VB FLANDES and VB SAMBA entered Grand Harbour, Malta during their delivery voyage.

They left Al Hamriyah, United Arab Emirates on Saturday 17th July arriving at the Suez Anchorage, Egypt on Monday 2nd August. Both left the anchorage to transit via the Suez Canal on Tuesday 3rd August and entered in the Mediterranean Sea on Thursday 5th August. On Tuesday 10th August, 2021 at 1520 hrs they contacted Valletta VTS that they were inbound to Valletta giving eta at 1720 hrs (1520 UTC) and requesting a harbour pilot each together with a mooring party.

At 1720 hrs a harbour pilot embarked on VB SAMBA from the pilot boat ALFA 1 and tug entered at 1731 hrs –

At 1723 hrs a harbour pilot embarked on VB FLANDES from the pilot boat ALFA 1 and tug entered at 1734 hrs –

Both of them berthed at Pinto 1 wharf, part of Valletta Cruise Port and left the harbour again on Wednesday 11th August at 0233 hrs completing their voyage to Zeebrugge, Belgium for Boluda Towage Europe.
