On Thursday 13th May the 2011 built MPP vessel ANGUS entered Grand Harbour, Malta at 2005hrs berthing at Magazine Wharf part of Valletta Gateway Terminals (VGT) coming from Singapore via Suez Canal.
She was built in China by Tongfang Jiangxin Shipbuilding at Jiujiang as MAERSK TEXAS trading until March 2014, renamed as THORCO ISABELLA with the Danish Shipping Company Thorco Shipping trading until 1st August 2020.
Her interesting deck cargo was the 2 aluminium hull 39 metre fast ferry catamarans MAJESTIC FAITH and MAJESTIC WISDOM with 317 passenger capacity with 8 crew. Their beam excluding the sponsons is 10 metre. They are powered by 2 x MTU main engines 16V2000 M72 giving power of 1,930 hp @ 2250rpm with 2 gearboxes ZF5000 and 2 FP Propellers
On Friday 14th May preparations were being done to start discharging the High Speed Craft with first one being discharged was the MAJESTIC FAITH of which operation started around 0910 hrs.
She finally touched the water by 1005 hrs and berthed alongside ANGUS with MTU Propulsion Technicians doing the inspection.
Upon her discharging she was shifted few metres astern to vessel ANGUS to make space for her sister MAJESTIC WISDOM.
After the ship’s crew had their lunch break it was the turn to discharge MAJESTIC WISDOM of which by 1304 hrs she was lifted up.
She finally touched the water by 1339 hrs and berthed alongside ANGUS with MTU Propulsion Technicians doing the inspection.
At 1344 hrs MAJESTIC FAITH with new name YOUR FAITH (Only on Bridge Side) shifted to Boiler Wharf still homeported in Singapore (SGP).
At 1521 hrs MAJESTIC WISDOM shifted to Boiler Wharf still homeported in Singapore (SGP) alongside YOUR FAITH.
By Saturday 15th June both High Speed craft were homeported at Valletta (MLT Flag) and with their names as YOUR faith and YOUR WISDOM visible on the bow, Bridge Side and stern whilst berthed at Boiler Wharf.
