The first acquisition for CSKC Co Ltd, Malta – LADY CHANELLE passed breakwaters on Thursday 27th April, 2023 at 1543 hrs during her delivery voyage from Mallaig, Scotland to Malta with GBR flag homeported at Stornoway covering 2,690 nautical miles.
She was built in 2009 in Vigo, Spain as SANGRE AZUL for Spanish Interests with owners few months later declared bankrupt so she was sold and renamed as VEGA DE LYRA, homeported at Vigo with fishing matricola as 5a-VI-2-1-15 with callsign EC-2903 fitting at Astilleros Placeres ,close to Marín.
She was built for the mussel industry and she’s the sister ship for GANG PIL LEE which was built as AJD 1 at the same shipyard.
She’s 22.9 metre long with 7 metre beam workboat and has a 33 tonne deck cargo capacity. She’s registered to ICCAT (International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas) as AT000GBR00448.
