On Monday 20th October, 2008 around 1530 hrs the 1990 built UAE flag 34 metre passenger ship DANAT DUBAI was spotted entering Grand Harbour, Malta during her delivery voyage from Spain to United Arab Emirates.
She was built in Australia by Austal Ships Pty Ltd with yard number 3 as BALI HAI in 1990 trading until July 1994.
Then she was renamed as BALI HAI I trading until January 1999, where she was renamed as DANAT DUBAI of which in 2007 she was spotted at Valencia, Spain.
With official number as 1399 her passenger capacity is 300. She’s powered by 2 x MAN 12 cyl with 1,996 bhp with a cruising speed of 21 knots.
She left later on at 2315 hrs bound to Dubai via Suez Canal
