The German built ropax GNV CRISTAL called again for the second time within a week entering Grand Harbour, Malta on Friday 29th January, 2021 at 1244 hrs coming from Palermo, Sicily. Originally her eta was at 1130 hrs but due to Malta Maritime Pilots meeting she had to adjust eta at 1230 hrs.

She was built at SSW Schichau Seebeck Shipyard at Bremerhaven in 1989 with yard number 1067 as the OLAU HOLLANDIA for the 1956 founded line Olau Line, UK. Following the closure of Olau Line in May 1994 she was renamed PRIDE OF LE HAVRE chartered to P&O Ferries, trading till December 2005 on the route of Portsmouth—Le Havre. She was acquired by Aliscafi SNAV, Italy and renamed SNAV SARDEGNA

Berthed at Palermo, Sicily back to 3rd October 2014.

Since 2017 she was renamed as GNV CRISTAL under the Grandi Navi Veloci Fleet.

She was berthed at Dwq 4 for the first time last Saturday 23rd January, 2021 entering Grand Harbour at 0105 hrs and leaving at 0516 hrs for Palermo.
