Due to the rough weather happening mostly Central Mediterranean various fishing vessels mostly Italian are sheltering close to land like Lampedusa (See Below) or entering harbours like Valletta.

Both on Friday 29th November and yesterday Wednesday 11th December the 2002 built Italian (ITA) longliner MARIELLA II with fishing matricola as 2 CT 420 was seen in Valletta. She’s 15.15m long with 23 GRT and was built in Messina, Sicily.

Meanwhile on Friday 29th November 2019 with MARIELLA II there was the 1981 built wooden trawler LUIGI PRIMO with fishing matricola as 4 CT 1114 was seen in Valletta. She’s 19.15m long with 39 GRT and was built in Licata, Sicily.
