One of the very few Greek trawler seen in the Maltese Islands was the 1973 built trawler KAPETAN GIANNOS III that was seen during Blue Fin Tuna (BFT) Season 2007.

She was built in France with 20 metres length and 6.30 metres beam with 3.05 metres as draught. Her GRT was 20 tons while her NRT was 12 tons. Her Official Number was 8608 while her radio call sign was SV6375 and homeported at Piraeus, Greece. With a crew of 5 her maximum speed was 9 knots.
