The first naval ship built in Germany for the West German Navy after the end of Second World War was the Type 320 Class LINDAU M 1072. Total of 18 ships in the class they were the first coastal minehunters, all wooden. The Lindau class was the German version of the NATO unit type made.
One of the ships was TUBINGEN M 1074 a total of 18 Type 320 class of the German Federal Navy. She was originally built as a coastal mine search boat at the Burmester shipyard in Bremen-Burg and entered service on September 25, 1958. From May 30th, 1975 she was converted into a minehunter of Type 331 Class and from March 20th, 1978 she was in use by the German Navy 4th Minesweeping Squadron (4th MSG).
She was retired on 26th June 1997 and later on she was sold to an Italian private owner who converted the vessel into a motor yacht retaining her name.
On Sunday 26th December 1999 she was seen entering Valletta and moored at Grand Harbour Marina.

On Sunday 1st October 2017 she was spotted anchored at Lavrion, Greece and earlier this week she was spotted at Naples, Italy.
