ENI’s, FPSO FIRENZE unit that was deployed in the Eni operated Aquila field off the coast of Puglia, together with the on-board processing plant. was towed from her field bound to Dubai.
She was towed by the 2008 built offshore tug/supply ship MAERSK TRADER and the 2010 built offshore tug/supply ship GH VOYAGER and anchored at Priolo, Gargallo limits of Augusta, Sicily for over 2 months.
On Saturday 27th October 2018 MAERSK TRADER entered Augusta Harbour for bunkering operations and later on took position at the FPSO aft again with GH VOYAGER. (Originally it was going to happen within territorial of Maltese waters).
Later on in November 2018 they were joined by the 2014 built offshore tug/supply ship PACIFIC DOVE of which she took bunkers and provisions from Malta.
Towage started again on Saturday 8th December 2018 and passed Port Said, Egypt on Christmas Day 2018 bound to Port Rashid, Dubai
