The Port of Haifa is the largest of Israel’s three major international seaports, the others being the Port of Ashdod, and the Port of Eilat. It has a natural deep water harbor, which operates all year long, and serves both passenger and merchant ships. It is one of the largest ports in the eastern Mediterranean in terms of freight volume and handles about 30 million tons of cargo per year (not including Israel Shipyards’ port).

1st May – The 1996 built bulker NECO K coming from Nemrut, Turkey entered Kishon Harbor after awaiting her turn (with 38 other ships anchored in the bay).
7th May – Cruise liner ODYSSEY OF THE SEAS departed after a short port of call.
10th May – The French Navy frigate FS CHEVALIER PAUL D 621 entered Harbour assisted by 2 tugs though she has bow thruster. She was last here in February 2020 (21-26.02.2020)
11th May – The Israel Oceanographic & Limnological Research (IOLR) Fishery Research ship BAT-GALIM was spotted off Haifa. She’s the former German Navy Y 867 FGS BANT a Stollergrund Class Utility Ship.
14th May – The 2010 built Israeli flag and owned 261 metre container ship ZIM TARRAGONA left Haifa bound to Nemrut, Turkey.
16th May – The French Navy frigate FS CHEVALIER PAUL D 621 left Harbour ending her 6th day stay.
Also same day the 2018 built 212 metre container ship EVER BONUS left Haifa bound to Mersin, Turkey.
19th May – The 2007 built 186 metre container ship SAN ALVARO entered Haifa from Mersin, Turkey.
23rd May – The 1995 built LBR flag bulker KAVKAZ V left Haifa in the morning bound to Turkey for orders.
25th May – The 2015 built 259 metre container ship YM EXPRESS left Haifa at 0559 hrs bound to Ashdod.
26th May – The Israel Oceanographic & Limnological Research (IOLR) Fishery Research ship BAT-GALIM was spotted once again off Haifa.
