The 2023 newbuilt 53 metre catamaran based on Incat Crowther Design IC20156 – KILIMANJARO VIII was handed over in Tanzania, East Africa during April, 2023 by her builders – Richardson Devine Marine (RDM) of Hobart, Australia.
She is the eighth vessel built by RDM for the same customer – Azam Marine.
Built as yard number RDM 078 she was loaded as deck cargo aboard the 2021 built Heavy Load Carrier UHL FIERCE as seen from all images
Made of Aluminium hull and superstructure she is is capable of transporting up to 654 passengers at 37 knots though her cruising speed is 34 knots. A draught of only 1.5 metres meanwhile allows easy transits through coastal harbour channels throughout the country.
