The LEVIATHAN FIELD is a large natural gas field located in the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Israel.

The 1988 built BLZ flag crewboat TOSCA 1 was spotted operating with the semi-submersible crane vessel THIALF of which she has a lifting capacity of 14,200 metric tons (one of the biggest of her kind), operating in the field offshore Hadera.
Tuesday 29th January, 2019.
The 2013 built GBR flag Tri swath Trimaran wind farm support vessel CABLE BAY joined the project.
Wednesday 30th January,2019.
The 2017 built MHL flag offshore support vessel NOR NAOMI was still assisting the pipelayer AUDACIA.
Monday 4th February,2019.
According to Israel Ministry of Transport the offshore support vessel NOR NAOMI was conducting Multi Beam Echo Sounder Calibration and Survey. Notice to Mariners was 031/2019 and stated as follows –
This is to advise all mariners that M/V “Nor Naomi” will be engaged near Tamar platform area and Lev #3 & Lev #7 wellheads, from 5th of February 2019 till 15th of February 2019.

The 2013 built NLD flag tug BYLGIA arrived at Haifa. She’s assisting the crane vessel THIALF.
Also the 1976 built MLT flag trenching support vessel CALAMITY JANE arrived and anchored off Haifa harbour.
Wednesday 13th February, 2019.
The 2012 built CYP flag offshore supply ship EDT LEDA entered Haifa and she’s with the THIALF Group.
