On Thursday 7th May 2009 the Libyan trawler BENOURI with fishing matricola as TP 648 towed to Valletta, Malta the 28.5 metres fishing trawler EL KHOMES.
Upon arrival at Valletta fairway buoy both duty pilot and tugboat WENZINA left harbour.
Around 1125 hrs towage passed breakwater arms bound to the inner part of the harbour.
In June 2009 she was spotted on her hard at the Hardstanding Facilities at Marsaxlokk Harbour.
On Sunday 5th September 2010 a warrant of arrest was issued with warrant number 1408/2010 of the 28.5 metre fishing vessel with 150 GRT, homeported in Tripoli (LBY) and matricola number as ST 247 with Eur 97,000 claimed.
Few information is known regarding this vessel and last seen was aground off Delimara Power Station at Marsaxlokk Harbour back to Friday 5th November 2010.
