One of the Swedish Built ships around is the bunkering tanker VALLIERE.
She was built at Asiverken, Amal, Sweden in 1962 as the HAMNSJO and was renamed to ALPHA AV DONSO as one of the smaller bunkering tankers in Scandinavia. She was 25.15 metres long (loa) with 5.25 metres beam.
She arrived at Valletta on the 19th October 2012 and was homeported at Lome, Togo (TGO). A year later she was reflagged to Malta (MLT) and homeported at Valletta.
She’s part of Marine Bunkers Malta and been active all around the Maltese Islands including Malta Freeport at Marsaxlokk Harbour as per image below – Uplifting bunkers with Mother Ship CMA CGM CALLISTO back to May 2016.
