A floating Fuel Hub located at Marsamxett Harbour is the 1955 built tanker SEAGULL I.
She was built in 1955 by H.B.Peters , Te Dedimsvaart, Netherlands as SEAGULL, a name she kept until she she was sold to Cornflower Shipping Limited (Shell Agents in Malta) and renamed SEAGULL I with official number 5048 in 1997. Her call sign is 9H5422 with 70 tons GRT and 21 tons NRT. With BHP 80 her maximum speed is 8 knots.
Early 2019 she was bought by Medsea Shipping Agency and was shifted to Manoel Island Marina last 28th February, 2019 from her mooring place few metres ahead of AFM Maritime Squadron as per below images –






Middle March of 2019 she was spotted slipped at Manoel Island Yacht Yard (MIYY) –




She left the slip on Monday 25th March, 2019 around 1000 hrs –





And in June 2019 she was back at her new mooring place fresh with new colours –








Last August 2021, ENEMED (Responsible for Fuel Supply) Personnel were seen aboard –

And finally SEAGULL I is Open –
