On Friday 19th July, 2024, the Malaysian built 37 metre tug LEDRA DYNAMIC was seen entering Valletta, passing breakwaters at 0651 hrs with her deck loaded with a set of yokohama fenders.

She was built at Piasau Slipways Sdn Bhd which is an enterprise in Malaysia, with the main office in Jelutong as Hull no 217 with her keel was laid on 28th February, launched on 6th November and ready on 27th December, all during the year of 2005 and delivered to her owners in 2006 as DANUM 45.

During late November of 2023 she was acquired by Ledra Ena Shipping and on 1st December she started trading with her current name as LEDRA DYNAMIC.

Once she was secured at her berth, corner with Magazine Wharf part of Valletta Gateway Terminals (VGT) the Haulage Contractor – Abela Bros Ltd with one of his Coles Mobile Crane was spotted discharging the fenders.

She left Valletta today Saturday 20th July, 2024 at 0753 hrs.

This is the third vessel that we saw in Malta from Ledra Fleet – the former Royal Maritime Auxiliary Service (RMAS) Dog Class tug LEDRA IV and then renamed as PAVLOS T, the offshore ship LEDRA PRIDE during her delivery voyage from the North Sea back to June 2015 and this classic lady wearing Ledra Ena Livery.
