One of the Damen built tugs, the 2013 built Damen Stantug 2909 series SEA VANQUISH called at Grand Harbour, Malta on Tuesday 30th January passing breakwaters at 1629 hrs (local time) coming from Haydarpasa, Turkey after she towed the disabled 2004 built general cargo ship MAXIMUS-1.

She was built at Damen Shipyard Galati at Galati, Romania with yard number 511626 as MTS VANQUISH and completed at Damen Shipyards Gorinchem at Gorinchem, The Netherlands homeported at Falmouth (GBR Flag) for MTS Group Ltd, UK completed on 26th April,2013.

Her length is 29.24 m (loa) with beam of 9 m and maximum draft of 4.40 m with a 272 as GT and 68.3 ts bollard pull.

She was sold and renamed as SEA VANQUISH since July 2023.

On Friday 2nd February she shifted to Church Wharf , in VPJ area of one could notice the wrong COURTESY FLAG.

And early afternoon she was seen secured and to start the towage alongside the Yugoslavia (now Croatia) built offshore tug/supply vessel AGAT ZEJT III which was sold for further service.

She left Valletta bound to Yalova, Turkey at 1609 hrs.

And after this towage was completed in Turkey, she called again at Valletta, Malta calling on Wednesday 14th February at 1845 hrs, leaving the following day at 1300  hrs bound to The Netherlands of which today her next port of call was noticed as to Portugal.
