On Monday 17th July, the 15 year old tug TRONDS LAX arrived at Valletta Roads, Malta to take Harbour Pilot to enter Valletta of which she passed breakwaters at 1029 hrs.
Her last port of call was Cadiz, Spain but her track was that she came from Aliaga Roads, Turkey. She made fast at DWQ 4, part of Valletta Gateway Terminals (VGT) for the 24 hour maiden call.
She was built in 2008 at Scheepswerf Gebroeders Kooiman at Zwijndrecht, Netherlands as yard no 178 for BMS Towing BV, Netherlands as ANDRE B.
During Q3 of 2018 she was sold to Tronds Marine Services, Norway and renamed as TRONDS LAX.
Upon her arrival she started to uplift bunkers by Zeta Energy Co Ltd, bunkering tanker BAWA-I.
And she left Valletta on Tuesday 18th July at 1017hrs bound to Hoylandsbygda, Norway.
