The Dutch built general cargo ship NS ELI entered Grand Harbour, Malta on Monday 10th April, 2023 coming from Marsaxlokk Harbour at 1634 hrs bound for DWQ 2 Wharf.
She was built by the famous Ferus Smit Scheepswerf at Hoogezand, Netherlands in 1989 as AMY trading until 2006. She was renamed as ASPEN trading until 2012 where she she was sold again and renamed EXE OTTER of which she was seen at Valletta back in January, 2013.
She was sold again in February 2022 being renamed as ELIF S and was acquired by her current company in January 2023 and homeported at Belize (BLZ).
She left Valletta on Saturday 15th April assisted by 1 tug as per pilot instructions passing breakwaters at 1017 hrs bound to Malta Freeport Terminal 2.
