Monday 3rd June. 

The operated Military Sealift Command of the US Navy Pathfinder Class Oceanographic Ship USNS MARIE THARP T-AGS 66 left Valletta, Malta from DWQ 2 wharf passing breakwaters at 1515 hrs.

Tuesday 4th June.

The Marine Nationale (French Navy) Vulcain Class MCM Diving Tender FS ACHERON A 613 left Valletta  passing breakwaters at 0919 hrs from DWQ 1 wharf.

Sunday 9th June.

The Marine Nationale (French Navy) Diving Support ship operating for DGSE (Directorate General for External Security) FS ALIZE A645 entered Valletta passing breakwaters at 0912 hrs berthing port side alongside DWQ 2 Wharf.

Tuesday 11th June.

The Marine Nationale (French Navy) Diving Support ship operating for DGSE (Directorate General for External Security) FS ALIZE A645 left Valletta passing breakwaters at 1839 hrs.

Thursday 13th June.

The United States Navy Arleigh Burke Class Guided Missile Destroyer  USS MASON DDG 87 call at Valletta of which was berthing at Parlatorio Wharf, Palumbo Malta Shipyards was cancelled. There were rumours that she was to call on Wednesday 14th June, but her cancellation was confirmed. She was due until Sunday 16th.

Also on Thursday, we were lucky to saw the French Patrol Craft  PM 42 GYPTIS operated by Direction des Affaires Maritimes, France coming from Fishing grounds since she was assigned for Fishery Patrol During BlueFin Tuna (BFT) Season in Central Mediterranean passing breakwaters at 1647 hrs and berthing at DWQ 3 Wharf.

Friday 14th June.

The French Patrol Craft  PM 42 GYPTIS operated by Direction des Affaires Maritimes, France left Valletta  passing breakwaters at 1436 hrs bound to Marseille, France.

Tuesday 18th June.

The Royal Navy (RN) Type 45 Class Air Defence Destroyer  HMS DIAMOND D 34 call at Valletta was cancelled. Even her call at HMNB Gibraltar was cancelled as she was going straight to Palma di Majorca for her Red Sea Deployment.  She was due until Saturday 22nd.

Also on Thursday, the Armada Espanola (Spanish Navy) Santa Maria Class Frigate ESPS CANARIAS F 86 called at Valletta passing breakwaters at  0807 hrs berthing port side alongside Cassar Marine Services barges B45 and B77 at DWQ 2 Wharf.

Thursday 20th June.

The Spanish Navy Santa Maria Class Frigate ESPS CANARIAS F 86 left Valletta passing breakwaters at 1733 hrs.

Saturday 23rd June.

The Royal Danish Navy Home Guard Coastal Patrol Boat HDMS STELLA POLARIS A 546 and HDMS VIKAR A 545 called at Malta on their maiden call from Catania, Sicily (Our Italian team saw them twice, both in Bari and Catania)

Both built as Pilot Boats there were seen steaming with approximately 14.7/15 knots while approaching Malta –

First to enter was the lead ship – HDMS STELLA POLARIS A 546 passing breakwaters at 1655 hrs bound to Wine Wharf, part of Valletta Cruise Port (VCP).

And few seconds later her sister HDMS VIKAR A 545 passed breakwaters.

Monday 25th June.

The Royal Danish Navy Home Guard Coastal Patrol Boat HDMS STELLA POLARIS A 546 and HDMS VIKAR A 545 left Malta from Wine Wharf passing breakwaters at 0919 hrs bound to Lampedusa.
