One of the Belgian built vessels trading around the Maltese Islands is the 1986 built 23.85 fishing vessel CRYSTAL STARLIGHT.
Built by Fulton Marine NV at Ruisbroek, Belgium as the Belgian (BEL) vessel MANTA with call sign OPBL. She was seen in Malta back to May 2010 berthed at the Old Fishmarket.
Then during August 2010 she was seen at the Hardstanding Facilities at Marsaxlokk Fishport.
And after she touched the sea again, necessary floating works were done while moored at the Fishport as per below images –
In 2011 she was sporting a grey livery as seen here entering Grand Harbour –
And there were differences in her name especially her aft name which was neither welded nor written properly.
And in 2012 she was sporting the fishing support vessel number as MFD 53
And lately this month she was seen fresh ready for Blue Fin Tuna Season bearing the fishing matricola MFA 7053 –
