On Sunday 31st January, 2021 the 228 metres long cruise liner VIKING SUN entered Grand Harbour, Malta around 0700 hrs assisted by 2 local tugs for uplifting bunkers by BALLUTA BAY and technical stop.

She was built in 2017 by Fincantieri at Ancona, Italy of which she was delivered to Viking Ocean Cruises on 25th September, 2017. She’s the 4th ship in a series of 930 passenger ships.

She is part of the Viking Ocean Cruises fleet and has a maximum capacity of 930 passengers and 480 crew members and on 24th April, 2018 she made her maiden call at Malta as per images shown here.











On both occasions she was berthed at Pinto 1 and 2 wharves, Valletta Cruise Port.

She left harbour around 1800 hrs bound to the Far East via Suez Canal.
