On Thursday 23rd July, 2020 at 2200 hrs the 1991 built sail passenger ship STAR FLYER was spotted approaching Malta for bunkering purposes at Bunkering Area 3.

On Friday 24th July, 2020 at 0545 hrs STAR FLYER was spotted approaching Bunkering Area 3.

Later on around 1800 she was ready from bunkers and she proceeded to the Ionian Sea.

STAR FLYER was built in Belgium by Scheepswerf Van Langerbrugge at Gent as STAR CLIPPER trading until May 1991 with 300 DWT and 2,298 GRT. Homeported at Valletta with Malta (MLT) Flag.

Then on Friday 14th August, 2020 the 2000 built 137 metre long sail passenger ship ROYAL CLIPPER was within territorial waters for bunkering purposes too.

ROYAL CLIPPER was built in Poland by Gdansk Shipyard at Gdansk as GWAREK trading until July 2000 with 1,000 DWT and 4,425 GRT. Homeported at Valletta with Malta (MLT) Flag.
