With Head office at Marsaxlokk Harbour and founded in 1974, originally at Manoel Island at Marsamxett Harbour (Until 2003) MEDSERV has become a trusted partner and provider of integrated oilfield support and services operating in and around the Mediterranean.
Medserv provides integrated logistics support and services, including engineering services for plant and equipment used for the exploration and production of oil & gas from offshore fields.
One of the vessels that used their services was the Greek owned offshore tug/supply ship MEGA ONE here featured while calling last 5th February, 2010.
She was built in South Korea by Samsung Shipbuilding & Heavy Industries at Geoje in 1980 launched as ATLAS TASMAN, then renamed as SMIT LLOYD 119 with Singapore Flag (SGP) , sold and renamed MAERSK HANDLER in 1982 for Maersk Supply Service (MSS) until May 1992 where she was sold and renamed as PILOT FISH trading until December 1993 where she was chartered to the Marine Nationale (French Navy) as CARANGUE trading for 16 years until July, 2009 based at Toulon.
Renamed as MEGA ONE she traded for 5 years till July, 2014.
