Before 0900 hrs the AFM Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV) P62 entered Valletta calling at Palumbo Malta Shipyard Ltd to berth at Bormla Wharf.
Wednesday 7th November, 2018.
At 1614 hrs the Royal Navy Type 45 Class Destroyer HMS DIAMOND D 34 entered Valletta on her way home bound to Pinto 4 and 5 wharves assisted by local tugs LIENI and MARI.
She has an AgustaWestland AW159 Wildcat HMA2 helicopter with registration as ZZ414 and serial 484 embarked. Back in 2016 when she was here she had another Wildcat with registration as ZZ522.
Friday 9th November, 2018.
At 0946 hrs the German Navy Bremen Class Frigate FGS AUGSBURG F 213 entered Valletta bound to Bormla Wharf at Palumbo Malta Shipyard assisted by local tugs LIENI and MARI. She’s part of EUNAVFOR MED Operation Sophia.
At 1106 hrs the Royal Navy Echo Class Hydrographic Ship HMS ECHO H 87 entered Valletta bound to Boat House Wharf at Palumbo Malta Shipyard.
Saturday 9th November, 2018.
At 0819 hrs the Spanish Navy Santa Maria Class Frigate ESPS REINA SOFIA F 84 entered Valletta bound to Boiler Wharf assisted by local tugs LIENI and MARI. She’s part of EUNAVFOR MED Operation Sophia.
