United Shipbuilding Corporation’s (USC) Yantar Baltic Shipbuilding Plant has completed modernisation work on the Russian Navy’s Project 11540 Yastreb (Hawk) frigate NEUSTRASHIMYY F 712 .




The ship has already begun undergoing acceptance trials in the Baltic Sea. After 30 days of trials, she will be redelivered to the Russian Baltic Fleet.





F 712 RFS NEUSTRASHIMYY the lead ship of her class (2), was commissioned on 24th January 1993. Originally 7 ships were planned but only 2 were completed of which both ships are operational with the Baltic Fleet. The frigate’s recently concluded modernisation program began in 2014.
