One of the first anchor handling tug/supply (AHTS) responder to EVER GIVEN aground accident in the Suez Canal on Tuesday 23rd March, 2021 was the 150 tons bollard pull AHTS MARIDIVE 703.

She was built in China by Jiangsu Zhenjiang Shipyard at Zhenjiang in 2011 and homeported in Belize City (BLZ Flag). She’s 71 metres long with 16 metres as beam. GRT is 2,379 tons while her summer deadweight is 2,534 tons. On Friday 18th July, 2014 she entered at Grand Harbour, Malta for the first time calling at Palumbo Malta Shipyard for drydocking and survey works.

Upon leaving Grand Harbour, Malta back to Wednesday 6th August, 2014 she performed several trials.

Including her FIFI Class 1 System with her fire monitors.
