The 16 year old DP 2 Multipurpose Subsea Services Support Vessel BOURBON TRIESTE finally left Malta for her next assignment. She entered in 2021 for cold stack at MMH Facilities as per below image –
In the afternoon of Friday 25th November, 2022 she was shifted to Palumbo Malta Shipyard Ltd by 2 tugs and berthing at Hamilton Wharf.
Late in December 2022 she shifted from her alongside berth at Hamilton Wharf towards Dock 2 for drydocking.
First week of February, 2023 she shifted back again to Hamilton Wharf, this time starboard side alongside.
Then she started sea trials and checking her equipment
On Monday 20th March she was spotted doing her NOV knuckle boom crane load test using load bags
And on Friday 24th March at 1702 hrs she passed breakwaters bound to Algeciras and from there to Pointe Noire, Congo.
