On Tuesday 26th November 2019 at 1948 hrs the crewboat MAKANA entered Valletta, coming from Port Rashid, Dubai of which she left on Thursday 24th October.

She was built in India by Bharati Ratnagiri Yard at Ratnagiri in 2003 as the ATCO ALIA. She’s 34 meter crew/utility vessel with 50 pax capacity with a shallow draft of 2.13 metres and 110 square meters of deck space. In 2015 she was sold to Dynamic International Marine at Dubai, UAE and renamed DYNAMIC 9. She worked on various projects including Qatar Petroleum and Saudi Aramco.

Homeported at Panama and named MAKANA she left Dubai bound to Valletta for a bunker/Crew change and supplies stop berthing at the Valletta Cruise Port berth – Wine Wharf.
On Tuesday 3rd December she shifted to VGT berth – Dwq 2 and left to Gibraltar at 1550 hrs.
