Vroon Offshore Services (VOS) has secured a three year contract extension with BP.
The emergency response and rescue vessels (ERRVs) VOS FAIRNESS (pictured), VOS DISCOVERY , VOS INNOVATOR and VOS VIGILANT will continue to provide support for BP’s assets in the North Sea and West of Shetland until 2023.
The value of the contract is worth around £30 million (US$38 million). Under the contract, VOS will continue to provide four emergency response and rescue vessels (ERRVs) to support the oil and gas firm’s North Sea and West of Shetland assets until 2023.
Vroon Offshore Services operates 38 ERRVs out of Aberdeen, UK, with four contracted to BP. Majority of the fleet has cargo carrying capabilities, while some vessels are equipped with towage and tanker assist features.
