Another MSC container ship to use Palumbo Malta Shipyard was the 2006 built 324 metres long MSC TORONTO. She entered Grand Harbour on Friday 22nd October, 2021 passing breakwaters at 0712 hrs coming from Gioia Tauro, Italy. She was due to enter the previous day around 1530 but works were postponed due to daylight restrictions etc.

She was built by Hanjin Heavy Industries (HHI) at Busan, South Korea and was always named as per her name though flags were changed three times including Liberia (LBR) and Germany (DEU)

After her repairs at Dock no 6 she left on Monday 25th October, 2021 bound to sea orders.
