One of the South Korean built ships , the Greek owned crude oil tanker EVRIDIKI was spotted at Palumbo Malta Shipyard during the month of April. In fact she entered Grand Harbour on Sunday 3rd April at 0953 hrs coming from Eleusis, Greece bound for drydocking at Dock 6.

She was built by Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) at their yard in Incheon, South Korea and delivered on 5th January, 2007 as Double Hull with Det Norske Veritas (DNV) Classification with 274 metres length and 50 metres beam. Her deadweight (DWT) is 167,295 tons.

She’s one from 5 tankers owned by Liquimar Tankers Management –

She left the facilities and the harbour on Sunday 17th April at 0923 hrs to OPL Kalamata, Greece after spending 5 days awaiting weather conditions improvement due to Gale Force winds with High Swell of which it wasn’t safe at all to depart – as per duty harbour pilots.
