The former late Muammar Gaddafi owned cruise liner MSC PREZIOSA entered Grand Harbour, Malta on Tuesday 10th August, 2021 at 0813 hrs coming from Naples, Italy bound to Palumbo Malta Shipyard berthing starboard side alongside Parlatorio Wharf.

On 1st July, 2008 she was ordered with her keel laid on 5th December 2008 at the STX France SA, St. Nazaire in France with yard no X 32. On 25th February, 2012 she was launched as PHOENICIA for the Libyan State owned company General National Maritime Transport Company (GNMTC) and during March 2013 she was acquired by the Mediterranean Shipping Co (MSC) of which she was renamed to MSC PREZIOSA homeported in Panama (PAN) and commissioned on 14th March, 2013.




On Tuesday 24th August at 0900 hrs assisted by tug VITTORIOSA she turned to port side alongside at Parlatorio Wharf.






Then on Thursday 9th September she left Grand Harbour at 1755 hrs after she was ordered for sailing at 1700 hrs assisted by tug WENZINA.










Her next destination was drifting outside territorial waters (otw) of which she left forever on Saturday 11th September at 1817 hrs bound to Augusta, Sicily of which she entered today Sunday 12th September at 0728 hrs.
