The 4, 140 passenger capacity cruise liner MSC SEAVIEW entered Grand Harbour, Malta for her 5 year scheduled drydocking on Friday 31st March, 2023 which is a Public Holiday at Malta – Freedom Day.
Coming from Barcelona, Spain she passed breakwaters at 0643 hrs since the harbour was closed from 0800 to 1900 hrs due to traditional regatta races and headed straight to Dock 6 for drydocking.
After completing a season in South America, she went for drydocking to upkeep ahead of her summer program in the Western Mediterranean.
Her drydock period was for 2 weeks until Saturday 15th April but MSC Cruises announced the cancellation of seven cruises scheduled for April 2023 due to the extended shipyard stay of the vessel.
In fact MALTA SHIP PHOTOS managed to capture shots of MSC SEAVIEW together with MSC GRANDIOSA back to 12th April and with MSC WORLD EUROPA during her maiden call on the 19th April from our second office.
MSC SEAVIEW is owned by Compania Naviera Seaside 2 SA care of MSC Cruises SpA of Naples, Italy. ISM manager is MSC Cruise Management UK Ltd of Uxbridge, UK.
And on Saturday 29th April, 2023 she left Valletta bound to Civitavecchia, Italy at 1132 hrs assisted by Damen built tugboat PAWLINA.
